I saw a product at the miami boat show that is a one step process for fiberglass shine restoration. It had a chamios colored cloth taped to the side of a 32 oz. bottle of liquid. You have to get the wax off by using something like simple green and you just wipe this stuff on. Do any of you that went to the show remember the name of this stuff. I wish I had bought some. It worked really well.

It is silicates(silicon) and is just a mask. basically like WD-40 on your boat. The only way to restore a finish is elbow grease. I have tried everything including that tile cleaner and when glass gets pourous(chalky) it has to be removed like dead skin. Therefore rubbing compound and wax is about it.
