Is a new unused 2000 17 Montauk (170MT)w/ a new unused 90hp. 2000 Merc, Power Trim, Oil Injected,and a Shorelander Galvanized Trailer w/ tongue jack a good deal at $17995. ? The boat has sun top with boot, and comfort package. Package is water ready, battery, gas tank, included. Any input would be appreciated.

I say its a bad deal-might as well by the new one (2002) for that price.

JB's son paid $24.5K if you adjust for inflation.

But I still think it's a terrible deal. Obsolete boat, old stinky motor. Probably got a film of dust on it and all. No way. Just give the phone number...
