Looks like Fox, who recently acquired Speedvision, and changed the name to the Speed Channel, has cancelled Ship Shape TV. I KNEW that show was too relevant to my interests to stay in business. I hear its on Public TV in some areas, but, of course, not here in Detroit... Whats gonna keep me going in the loooong winter? (I mean other than this forum)

I watched for a little over a year, and must have seen each show replayed about 4 times. It was informative though.

Thanks for the update. I've been looking for it the last 2 weeks. Sorry to see it go.

I guess in that respect, I'm lucky. I drive past the marina he uses twice a day 5 days a week. Our PBS station runs the show twice a week. My dad has made quite a little home library of the episodes. Every few weeks, we'll rewind the tape on a rainy sunday afternoon and watch a few. Always interesting to see what he's upto this week.

The show started out great, but after a while Mr Greviskis started to sell out. Way too much time spent on new boat reviews. Who cares about new boats. If I could afford a new one, I wouldn't be watching his show. Seems like after the boat review and a few commercials you end up with about ten minutes of actual info.
