While I'm cutting new holes everywhere, has anyone used these?http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=201&prrfnbr=12486&outlet= They seem practical but before I start cutting the consol for something that size I better do my homework by asking others here.

Sorry. I don't know how to make that string a link so you don't have to copy and paste. |

My buddy had one on his Outrage, but they used the plano tray boxes instead of fixed trays. The nice thing about using the plano tray boxes is that you can remove the one you want and take it to your rigging area. I am not sure if his came rigged from BW with this option or if he added it later. I would like to add one to my console as well. Let us know what you end up doing. |

Arch,We have a '96 17' OR that has the removable Plano boxes 3600(?) size. Factory option. They are great. Highly recommend them. We just purchased another boat and are already trying to figure out where we can install them. I have seen them in Cabela's(sp) Cat also. |

Hello, I agree with the Plano boxes. Planos are widely available and cheap enough, buy a few and change them out depending on contents required. Additionally, if you broke a non Plano tray, you'll be begging for parts. Take a look at www.birdsallmarine.com See the Tackle Lockers. Chap |

Thanks. I agree that using the models that use the (going to look at them now) 3700 series Plano trays is the thing to do.I just couldn't find the site that had them. I use them in all my other tackle stuff and have them marked for use in the area/fish I'll be fishing. |
