Hmmm... a 175hp jet drive whaler going 40 mph with no one aboard. That sort of worries me.

Interesting. The U.S. military is already using several types of unmanned aerial vehicles, including the Predator and Global Hawk UAVs in use over Afghanistan. The Navy is also developing unmanned underwater vehicles (primarily for minesweeping). However, this is the first I've heard about unmanned surface vessels.
