That would be the Triple Crown. In fact it would probably be dangerous. Kind of like critical mass with nuclear matter.

Only the good Lord would know what would happen. Perhaps time would stand still....you'd enter another dimension....it scares me just thinking about it.

Alan, if_you_can make it from Fire Island inlet to Montauk Point, by water, in one hour, as they say in NYC, "I'll kiss your ass in Macy's front window". :)
Physically impossible.

Sure I can DGP, not towing another boat though I'll admit.

Figure around Bay Shore to the town limits of Montuak .
Ok just came back from mapquest..
its 74 miles away.
I Just gots to have a rig that does 74 mph's.
had one as a kid a checkmate.
get ready to kiss it!
Not in macys window, prefer Bloomies!

Alan,

Why whouldn't you.. Heck we have towed 36 footers down to 18 footers behind mega yachts all the time, some making 14 knots others doing well over 25 knots hooked up.. Just use ALOT of appropriate size tow harness, outboards gotta be outa water with a trailing line, if an inboard, loose the wheel, and lock the rudder.... Like they say if you want it that bad, anything is possible.

Lots O line, keep those runabouts in tow away from the mega yachts propwash.
I once followed a freighter 8 miles out in the shipping lanes of Jones Inlet NY with my 19' Chris Craft couple miles.
Water does some pretty wild stuff behing those Monsters. I towed a 20 ft. Baja last week with 2 guys a 200 merc about 2 miles @ 12 knots in my 15 BW Sport/70 yamaha.
Heck I'll tow anything, even one of those mega Yachts with my Whaler!
He he he

LOL...

Ya got me beat, but can you tow a 120 footer up the New River to Pipe Welders / Bradford Marine???

Now there is something that can really make your butt pucker.... In Bound and Out Bound traffic, and only a few monitor the correct channel...

But your right, that prop wash, or we should say after wake is a real Bioch!!! I have see quite a few get alittle wet being towed wrong :)
