Thanks for posting this link to a page in Finland with picture of an American river tow boat. I have enjoyed looking at them each of the three previous times the link was posted to this forum in the past month or so.

I am always curious how someone in Finland was able to take these pictures. They appear to be a bit dated. From the look of things I would guess this happened a few years ago, maybe as long as ten or more.

That is my first time viewing those pics. I cant beleive my eyes. Is it all luck or can you give some credit to the captain?

The bridge is on the Tombigbee River near Demopolis,Alabama. You can see the Dem painted on it. From the Bear Bryant hat I'd bet mid 70's.Wow.

Go buy Soundings magazine, there is a very interesting article about this set of photos including first hand interviews. The article discussed how rapidly these photos were spread around the web, causing some sites to take so many hits they had to shut down.
