I saw that boat in Charleston SC this past weekend. Where is your home port? The boat looked great it was being trailerd on I-526 in Mt Pleasant SC.

That boat gets around. I saw it a week ago being trailered in Kitty Hawk, NC. Beautiful boat.

That's our frequent poster "Kingfish", on the move again. Super nice Whaler, wouldn't you say? He's out of central lower Michigan.
Now I know why he was rushing to get 4 wheel SS disc brakes installed on the trailer.

He has added a nice aluminum arch across the boat since the picture on page 4. Thats a long way to trailer a boat from michigan, I hope he enjoyed or 69 degree water temp this weekend.

Water at 69-degrees? That is swimming temperature for Great Lakes boaters!
I was in western Lake Superior in 1999 and 2000, and in August the water was in the 40's, and that was on the shore at the ramp!

This may sound (and seem) really weird, but I was just scanning through some old archives and ran across this thread; I had never seen it before. I'm bringing it up here at this belated juncture, because reading the initial posts from SWarren and RMS, I was flattered firstly, then struck with a case of the guilts for never having acknowledged their complements at the time.
It was not a case of arrogance or contrariness, guys - I was still "on vacation" at the time, probably back up around Morehead City and visiting with old friend Tom Zeno (BigZ), and by the time I got home and back to a computer, I just missed the posts. Thank you for the complimentary remarks - I would have loved to meet you guys, still would, in your neck of the woods or mine.
That particular trip was a big one; we trailed first from Battle Creek MI to Williamsburg VA to visit some friends, then over to the Outer Banks. We got up to Duck, and then eventually all the way down through Hatteras to Okracoke and on to the mainland again at Cedar island. From thence down to Charleston, where I parked the rig for a couple of days while my wife and I flew back home for our God-daughter's wedding; I then flew back alone because Katie had to go back to work.
I worked my way back up the coast eventually to Morehead City and Beaufort, found a slip over in Atlantic City, and even with the spotty weather managed to get quite a bit of exploratory boating in, and some (close) off shore fishing. I look forward to getting back to that whole gorgeous area (coastal Carolinas), and would really enjoy hooking up with you guys when I do.
