am new to bw boats bought a 63 13" want to repower with a new engine am looking for advise as to the best way to go....thanks

top, I'm repowering a 1972 13 with a Yamaha 40 4 stroke w/o PT/PT short saft (15"). The motor weighs less than a 2 stroke (181 lbs) and has 3 cylinders.
It should be ready by this week end and report back.

I am looking at same motor would like to hear how you make out. I was quoted 5645 for a 2001 left over. How does that compare?

thanks for pointing me in the right direction ..found all i was looking for on the location you suggested....think im going to go with the 40hp merc classic have had some prices.. best i could find.so far was 3450 in the box..install my problem.....thanks again.. topthermo..great site am learning alot
