I also got some cheap teak from Cook Woods. Look on E-bay for their website.

I thought I was getting a good deal on a piece of teak I won ($20/bdft) but when I called them direct to inquire about direct purchasing they quoted $12/bdft. (Win some...lose some..hmmmm...)

FYI.

Cheap teak comes from Costa Rica. It's not old gowth and the teak is harvested before it's ready. It grows too fast.

The best teak is from Burma, however it comes from clear cutting the rain forest.

The next best thing is plantation teak from Indonesia. That is used by most boat builders and furniture companies.

Most teak from lumber yards now comes from Cota Rica, it's not the same as was used by Whaler. Regards, Jay
