My Montauk came with a fiberglass casting deck that is in good condition. It is not original whaler. It is all factory made fiberglass, L shaped and extends from the lower gunnels edge down to the floor across the deck. Its about maybe 18" deep at the splash rail forward. It has a center hatch and cover for access to the bilge and priming bulb. I took it out as I use the room, but the kids rode there sitting on cushions. Apparently in this boats other life some electric shock fishing device sat up off the deck in the back. It free to anyone who wants to come and get. Its too heavy and too large for me to crate or ship UPS. It was not the greatest installation, but it fit tight and was rattle free. It has a notch on the starboard side for the previous Merc T&T pump and steering/engine cables. It was cut so that the splash well is open. It was tall enough that the battery box was covered by the deck. I live near Augusta Ga. Ken
