My 1980 22 Revenge has 2 sets of running lights. There's one set of red/green lights flush mounted to the cabin. Then theres one set of vertical red/green lights mounted on the "walking surface" underneath the flush mounted lights. I can't find any pics of this combo on any other boat. Which set is orignial? I'm currently rewireing and would like to fix this if its not original.
Also, which anchor light is original. I have an all-around light on the windshield that folds up/down as needed. I also have a stern light on a 36" pole. From what I can discern, my size boat only needs one all-around light. Which one is orignial or recommended.
Thanks for you're input
David

I can't quite picture the red/green lights, but the ones on my 1981 20' Revenge are mounted on top of the deck. I believe they were made by Perko.

The white lights sound like original equipment. The one mounted on the windshield probably has two bulbs, one 360 degree anchor and one 240 degree running. The aft light should be 120 degree and lit when the 240 degree windshield light and red/green sidelights are on.

This is an optional lighting arrangement for small boats. You can also have a single 360 degree white light at the stern instead of the two seperate lights, but I don't think the Revenge was ever delivered with one white light.

You can check the Rules of the Road if you like to confirm that this is legal for your boat.
