Last weekend while spending some time at home in Northern Michigan a local Marina which brokers boats for the area had a Whaler "Squall" for sale. It was a little Sail Boat. It looked in great shape and would be a fun thing to mess around with. I am heading up north again this weekend and and going to check on more details. I am wondering if any of you know the background of this type of Whaler and its value. It had the look of a early to mid 80's- teak bench seats, tiller, keel, and rudder, but I may be way off. Just looking for information if you are familar.

Thanks

Squall, 9'2" LOA,4'4" Beam, 6"/24" Draft, 130lbs. Weight, 3hp MaxHP, 600lbs. Capacity.

Made from mid 60's till mid 70's discontinued, then brought back in around '82/'83 for only about 2 years.

If an 80's model in excellent condition with all components looking around $1000 give or take a few hundred.

It is basically a bathtub that floats. Neat if you have kids(was my 1st boat)or need a dingy. Other than that......Forgetaboutit!
