I hope to repower the restoration project in the next two weeks. Boat is looking great (85 Hull). The rub rail replacement almost whipped me though! Put the new decals on today. Can't wait to get this boat in the water! Leaning toward the Yamaha F115.

Did you replace the rubrail holders or just the rubrail. I am interested in hearing details. I rewired the bow lights last year (by myself) and getting the rubrails back in place was interesting without another set of hands.

Replaced it ALL. Had to straighten it out in the sun strapped to 2x4's for a day to get it usable. Had 1 extra pair of hands and 2 C Clamps, and duct tape (never accomplished any project without it!) The actual rubber insert was a piece of cake. Use stainless rather than the rivots.
