I had a 1988 22 Revenge Walk Through come in for service today. I couldn't believe that it hadn't just came out of the showroom.
There wasn't a mark on the boat and the mahogany looked factory fresh.
Power was a 1989 Merc 220 with a Merc 15 kicker on a Whaler Drive. The guy had just bought the boat from a friend, the original owner, and paid $20,00.00 for it.
I pulled up the motor records on MercNet and the boat has spent it's entire life here in Seattle without a spot of salt corrosion.
It had an interesting SS stern rail that wraped around and came forward about half way on the gunwales. Think it was custom as it had welded on SS rod holders.
This guy has never owned a boat befor but seems like the type to care for what he has. Sure hope so on this one.
