This looks like an outrage, but has a Montauk sticker on the hull

DC,

This was covered here: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002684.html

The ad on the Yacht World site is mislabeled. It should read 18' Montauk.

I initially poo-pooed George's contention that an 18' Montauk model existed but an email to Chick Bennett at Boston Whaler confirmed that indeed, they did make an 18' version of the Montauk, but only maybe four at the most.

I would have assumed it was identical to an Outrage 18 but in fact is was not exactly. It lacked the built in fuel tank and would have required tanks under the RPS, just like a Montauk does.

There were also a few 18 Striper models built though none appear in any Whaler sales literature. Read more about this here: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002729.html
