In some of his previous post WhalerAce has mentioned his desire for a Temptation. He wants to upgrade from our Outrage 22 to a Temptation 25. He is trying to justify this new acquisition by convincing me that since we don't fish, the Temptation would be a more comfortable boat for me. He has looked at one in San Diego and Maine and has brought back pictures, but you know that pictures just don't tell the whole story. I need to see one up close and personal before I can tell if I will really like it and get on board with this trade. So, since WhalerAce and I are in Key West right now we were wondering if there are any in Florida or Georgia that we can go see. The boat doesn't have to be for sale, I just want to see one. Please somebody, help me out here! We have about one more week here in Key West, and then will be traveling back to Charleston, through Georgia. Does anyone know of a specific location of a Temptation? Anywhere in Florida or Gerogia is a good candidate! I have found a 20' Temptation here in Key West, but that is hardly representative of what a 25-footer would be like (speaking in terms of cuddy and cockpit room). Please answer Joy (my wife) and restore her faith in the forum ;-). Thanks in advance, Ace |

Go to boatraderonline.com and do your search. You will find a 1988 22' Temptation; 1994 Twin 150Hp Evinrudes; Trailer for $17K. By the way, Palm Beach Gardens is just north of Ft Lauderdale. Joy, I can't help with the boat, I don't know of one and I'm not in Florida. But I must say, that I appreciate both your willingness to post here, and to look at the boat that Ace is thinking about. |

Joy & Ace- A huge long distance out of your way, I know (and believe me, I'm not posting this just to rub salt in the wound) but I was drooling over a 25' Temptation with twin somethings at the docks in South Haven, Michigan (Southeast shore of Lake Michigan) two weekends ago.
