I WENT TO SEE A 1992 OUTRAGE AND I SAW A DEFECT ON THE SIDES OF THE HULL TOWARDS THE TRANSOM ON BOTH SIDES,IT'S LIKE A WAVE ,BUT NO DAMAGED RUB RAIL ABOVE & NO CRACKS. I HAVE ONLY SEEN THIS EFFECT ON THE LOGIC PLASTIC BOATS. IF ANYONES HAS ANY IDEA OF WHAT THIS COULD BE PLEASE!! JUST PUT A DEPOSIT ON IT ,IF SERIOS IT COULD BE REFUNDED

Dameso...check the Reference section on buying a classic whaler ...helped me enormously...I just bought a 15 GLS. I think you should go back and "knock" on those wavy parts....could be delamination?
Check that article in the reference section. If it IS delamination, you probably should avoid it. Check the article and make your own judgement.
