mustang7nh	posted 08-30-2002 03:42 PM ET (US)         I'm thinking about repowering but do not want to put more pounds on my transom (Outrage 20) as it is already a bit stern heavy. Anyone know how much this engine weighs? I called a dealer and he said his books didn't go back that far. Thanks

Sal DiMercurio	posted 08-31-2002 08:23 PM ET (US)             That 200 weighs in at close to 450 lbs. I also own a 20' Outrage, with a 2000 - 200 hp Evinrude FICHT, that weighs 504 lbs. She was a little heavy in the stern [ also a 1980 - 15 hp kicker ]until I moved the twin group 29 batteries into an ice chest in front of the counsel, she's fine now. Sal
