Just cruised the Merc site, and under mid-range 4-cycle engines - they're all EFI now. Didn't the 2002 line offer carburetor or EFI?

Skred, Does a 90 hp fit into the mid-range catagory? I just bought an '03 carburated model, and the '02 90 hp motors were also offered carburated.

Skred-
Sorry but you are wrong......the 75 HP & 90HP are still not EFI. Same as last year.

One would think that Mercury with renewing the web site would pick up that they are still calling them the 2001 line on the bottom of each description.

Regarding the Merc site: I went looking for the specs on my 50 hp 4-cycle carbureted engine, and found only EFI listed. I'm pretty sure the 50 and the 60 were shown only as EFI. Don't know about 70 and up....

Just re-visited Merc. The 50 and 60 are only EFI. 75 and 90 are not and 115 is EFI. They all are (strangely) listed under this "midrange" category.

Nope....that is what the midrange is. Usually 40-140hp or so.
