I got a 9" point to point last night AND a 8+' in bradenton, FL last night. I hear the MD record is 9.5". Anyone know where I can find FL's? Anyone know how old it may have been. I hear that 3 years is about it. |

Maryland DNR says "The largest crab recorded from Maryland was a male measuring 9 inches; however bigger crabs (10-11 inches) have been captured in DNR crab surveys." at http://www.dnr.state.md.us/fisheries/education/crab/bluecrabfacts.html |

He was tasty but the 8+" had more meet. I think it was close to the end of the line for that old crab. Still puzzled on how he got into the trap. There is a pic on....the braggin board. |
