Ahoy, Bugsy.I have seen the chrome plated brass Whaler logos on Ebay. I have no idea how they would last because I never saw one on a Whaler. I wonder if Whaler ever used them. I haven't seen brass plated logos, I think you might have meant chrome plated brass. Red sky at night. . . JB |

I do not think they were ever used. I heard that they were going to be but never were. I found one at a flea market for 5 bucks. It is now garage decor. It looks pretty sweet ! Bbay for sure will have them. |

I bought two of those from an eBay vendor. They are BIG about 15 inches long and heavy. I don't think Whaler ever used them on a boat. Don't think they would be as durable as the plastic decals. Mine are wall hangers. Jim |

There is a nice picture of a transom mounted emblem on page 41 of Cetacea. Maybe ask Rex where he got it. |

Well, they are chrome plated, not brass plated. So they wont be goldish. They wouldn't be too heavy for a Montauk, but, well, I think they wouldn't look right. If I got some for Christmas, I might put them on my trailer or on the wall of my shop. Red sky at night. . . JB |
