Does anyone have any sugestions on what type of trailor is ideally suited for ramp launching a 13 foot whaler in salt water? Any help in choosing the size and manufacturer would be appreciated. The axle on my present trailer is rusted out and I feel the wheels are a little too small. I'm not sure whether an aluminum trailor is the answer but whatever I end up choosing I will probably decide on a traler with bigger wheels than what I presently have.

my axle was rusted out on the trailer for my 13' whaler.

I put a new axle, turbo lube (oil bath) hubs, springs, hardware, etc for about $200. Gave new life to my otherwise good trailer. I use my boat 90% saltwater.

I have 13" wheels and tires too now. (add another $100 or so for new wheels and tires).
