Other than going to the bookstore to buy a manual can anyone suggest a resource/manual on how to repair/replace a water pump for a 1991 Johnson 3 cylinder 60HP engine?

Get the book. It will pay for itself many times over.

Seloc manual #010-1 (1308) covers all Johnson/Evinrude 3 cylinder, V-4 and V-6 engines from 1973 thru 1991.
It lists for $34.95 but you should be able to find it discounted somewhere.
