Wet Foot	posted 12-16-2002 06:56 PM ET (US)         Can anyone suggest a company that makes an accessory to attach miscellaneous items to Whaler side and bow rails. We use a reel in Michigan without a pole, that is 8 inches in diameter and has a c-clamp...wraps up your hand line. I want to avoid drilling holes. I could build from something that attaches nicely to a rail.
lhg	posted 12-16-2002 07:06 PM ET (US)          Look into the Helms Products plastic rail clamps. Items can be mounted to them. I think West sells them.
triblet	posted 12-16-2002 09:52 PM ET (US)             West does sell the Helm (not Helms) clamps. They come on two flavors. One requires tools, the other does not, but is bigger. I've used both and they work fine. Chuck
