I am in the process of repainting the engine cowl of my '87 evinrude. I was wondering if anyone had any info as where replacement decals might be obtained?

Any custom decal shop, especially in FL. They are about $50-100 set depending on what you need. If you just want something that says Evinrude, e-bay for $6.

Your local Evinrude dealer can order them for you. Be aware, they are right pricey. About four months ago I bought two pair for my '89 Evinrudes, and I think they were about $120 per pair.

I got mine from The Outboard Shop in Charleston SC (843) 747-9614

I found a local guy (Arizona) that made them custom (Evinrude plus logo) for me for $20.00. He gave me eight of them.

I see them on e-bay also.

If your engine is a V-4 crossflow, you can have two. They are white.

Newtaukal,

You're kidding! In my package (for each engine) I got two plastic "EVINRUDE" appliques, two "120" appliques, two "V4" appliques, two of the big black decals (about 6" high that go all the way around the engine), three red&white pinstripes, and one "Counter Rotation" sticker. Are you really getting all of that for SIX dollars? Wow!

Please let me know your source because now I need basically all of the same items mentioned above for my two Yamaha 200s (1989).

Thanks in advance!

Just went to the Baywholesalers web site. When you go to the boat-lettering page, look in the upper-left corner. There is a little boat underway. Look even closer, and I think that is a Whaler logo on the boat.

Cool.
