Where can I get one, any year or condition?

kriese,

I presume you are referring to the Reversible Pilot Seat (RPS) designed by Bob Dougherty that was used as standard equipment on the Montauk and optional equipment on the Outrage?

If so, you can still order one from any Whaler dealer. Cost will be about $1,200 for one with a teak seat back.

You might also want to consider building your own or having someone build one for you for a little less money. Check out this thread: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000187.html

Or is the seat that you are talking about, the back seat? there was the RPS and the back seat for extra comfort. Thats a nice option, but its about $1,000 from a whaler dealer.

My 2000 dealer price list shows the following.

Montauk stern seat part #100-70332 $1310.00

Montauk RPS, teak part #500-05031 $1018.00

Montauk RPS, new style #500-05036 $1206.00

These are list prices and I would expect any dealer to add shipping on.

Dick
