Question: Reading Edgewater's website and they say they do not use any wood in there boat construction. Not talking about cabin, but in the Hull. So is there wood in the hulls of BOston Whalers like the newer Conquest 295/28 or the larger Outrage's? Thank you, rbyrd |

I was told by a dealer the BW went back wood in the transom. I was talking with a boat repair company and he was telling me that a number of the newer boats that went to the no wood concept in the transom have had some problems. He Said that they have correct this by adding more Glass to the transom. Some of the boats Identified were Scout and Seapro. I do not know what model years. Food for thought |

They actually have wood in the older hulls. But there are like wood "stringers" in it. The gunwales are some little wood blocks. The Transom, however, is not wood. Only the face of the cowel is wood. And the section of where the eyes are for the lines. Thanks JAZZ |

I have a diagram from bw that shows where wood has been placed on the 22' revenge. Mostly their to drill through to attach stuff. I would post it but it doesn't fit in my scanner. |
