I go into the hospital Wednesday to get a clogged artery replaced in my leg. My Doc says 5 to 7 days. I'm going to miss that scotch & water, or two after dinner but I can survive. Don't know how I am going to react with not being able to hit this site a couple times a day though. Hope they have some good drugs for Continuous Wave withdrawal. Dick

You have our thoughts an prayers Dick. I'm sure you'll up and about in no time.I'm glad you're getting this surgery out of the way now so it wont interfere with your summer boating. I'll have a good bottle of 18 year old single-malt scotch to share with you at the rendezvous. Alex |

Hope and pray that everything goes well Dick. I did not make it to Seattle last year, but when I get up there and have an opportunity to meet you, I will treat and enjoy a scotch and water with you. Take care -- Jerry/Idaho |

Dick, get back on here as soon as you're able. A little rest and relaxation in Jan/Feb is better than summer. Let us know how you're doing. I'll say a prayer for you...Jim |

Thanks all. I appreciate your responses. I don't think it is going to be nearly as bad as some of the re-plumbing jobs I have had done in the past.Having the work done at the University of Washington Medical Center which is a teaching hospital. Tons of cute young nurses. Alex I am happy with a blend. To All I'll be back on as soon as possible. Dick

Dick,You picked a good time of the year to get yourself fixed up for boating season. I’m sure you will be back to your old self soon. I’ll keep you in my prayers and I’ll ask my son to say one for you too (most of his are answered). Please report back to us and keep us updated. Regards, Jay P.S. With Dr.’s approval, email me your address, I have a bottle waiting for you!
