At the present time spending most of my day flat on my back with the leg propped up I have plenty of time to read and watch TV.

Today I saw a great one on Food Network, I like to cook.

Imagine that you are out on the water, it has started to drizzle, it is getting cold, you are hungry but that tuna salad sandwich in the ice chest isn't going to cut it. It's time for a hot meal but how do you fix one on a Montauk?

No refrigeration required, very long shelf life and no stove needed.

Check this one out.

What a hoot!

The part of their website that would have advertised prices is evidently down right now, so I couldn't tell how much they cost, but it was interesting to see that the technology was refined to make this system workable as a result of our preperations for Desert Storm.

Looking forward to your next find-

John

Gentlemen,

I am reminded of the famous method of hot dog preperation. Wrap the hot dogs in aluminum foil and place under the outboard cowling (or on sterndrive manifold.) When you're hungry, voila! Warm dogs. Honest.

Ooohhh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner...

but I'm only Harpoon Harry

be careful on what you put on top of the engine. Some idiots have caught their cars on fire that way. With a boat, I doubt the manifolds get that hot but be careful anyway.

I still prefer a nice Ceviche of fresh caught Mahi-Mahi or Yellowfin. No heating required.

I heat my sandwich by putting it in a small
soft cooler bag with three or four reusable
heat packs. I fire up the heat packs before
the first dive, when I finish the dive I have
a hot sandwich waiting.
