Although many on this site already are aware of the value of Continuous Wave, I thought I might revisit its importance.I sold my Montauk this past September and replaced her with a Grady White 20 Overnighter. I needed a bigger boat and part of the requirement was it must have a cuddy. Shortly after getting my new to me boat I needed to find some parts for the bow railing, a new rub rail and helm seats. I've searched the web but found no comparable site for Gradys. Because the boat I purchased is an 82', Grady-White no longer manufacturers the parts and finding Grady-White owners and enthusiasts is proving difficult at best. The parts are elusive and I doubt I'll locate what I need.
My point is that if you're gonna buy a used boat, there is no better choice than a Whaler, not only are they great boats but there is a vast community that supports her. The importance of the latter should not be underestimated, when buying new its not such a big deal but when you need info and parts for your used boat a community such as this is absolutely invaluable.
My next boat will definately be another Whaler, probably a 22' Outrage cuddy and I'll be proud to again join the Whaler owner ranks.
Thanks for listening,
