Hi there,

I'm looking at a 1986 20' outrage with a 200 yamaha for sale. The boat appears to be in great condition. Does anybody have any comments/pro's or cons with this boat? Is it a good riding boat? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks brett

Is it a 20' outrage or "V" 20 ?
tHE "v" 20 is much flatter faster, but rougher riding because of less deadrise.
The 20' outrage is a deeper "V" & a great boat.
Should haul %E^# with a 200 Yamaha.
I would certainly check to see what shape the fuel tank is in, cause it's about time for it to start leaking as it is in a wet cell that gets water in it.
It would be a wise move to have a surveyor check it out for wet spots, although whalers usually don't get them, but dosen't mean they don't get them.
A surveyor will know what shape it's in.

I have a 1989 20' Outrage. I've had it for about 6 months and so far I'm very happy with it. Mine has a 1995 200hp Merc on it.
