The 13 sport came with one of ugliest, cheapest steering wheels ever! Even bayliners have better ones. It is a 2 spoke black plastic toy that says whaler on it. I am going to fix this injustice with a destroyer or even the edson (dreaming). The problem is that I do know anything about the teleflex no feed back shaft. Is it 3/4 standard tapered shaft? Also for the aluminum wheel, what size nut should I use. 5/8"-18 nut, 1/2"-13 nut, 1/2"-20 nut 12mm-1.75 nut. All of these nuts are driving me nuts. I was think about a 13.5, 15 or 15.5 dia wheel. What do you guys think. Any info is need. Thanks

The Teleflex helm is standaed 3/4 taper. The nut that is now on the helm will work when you replace the wheel.

The reason I ask the nut size is because the edson wheel must be ordered with the decorative nut in one of those sizes. I can not get to my boat (under cover still). If anyone has that info I would be very grateful.

The SeaChoice stainless wheel is just like the OEM wheels on the new Outrages.

1/3 the price of an edson wheel
