I have to say that I usually prefer a Whaler when it has been left or restored to original condition over one that has been messed with, but it is pretty neat to see unusual boats such as this onehttp:/ /newimages.yachtworld.com/8/8/4/4/8/884484_1.jpg One of the most intersting boats I have seen is a an Outrage 25 done up special by Russo Marine in Mass. The boat is all yellow, and very well equipped as I remember. On the aft part of the hull, above the BW decal it said "Block Island Edition". I see the boat every summer at Block Island Boat Basin. |

Dan: Greetings !! So when is the big stick getting in the water? I should be in by next weekend ! If you can fix that link to those painted Whaler's I'd love to see it, seems very interesting. Thanks, John from Madison |

John- I am supposed to meet a few contractors tomorrow. (yes I am still trying to find one willing to go to the island) I will probably put the 16' Maritime in tomorrow and then leave it over at Atlantic to get it serviced. The other boat will be launched about May 1st.(I like to say launched, it sounds like the frickin QE2 is being put in). So either way, you might see me there this weekend. Dan |

Oh, also, I can get it to open from the link. It is a 25 walkaround, with the high flare bow (like the one you saw in RI) but the winshield has been removed, the hull is blue, the topsides are white, and it has a tower installed, looks pretty cool. If it won't open, search Yachtworld.com for BW 25' 1984 to 1988 Dan |
