I had been thinking about selling the 13' and a man in the neighborhood expressed some interest. He came by, we were like minded on the price, and I told him I would have to think about it. The next evening I decided to clean up the boat, it had been sitting while I concentrated on the Montauk. By the time I was through, I just couldn't sell it. Heck, it still smelled like the last four pound bass my son and I caught, or maybe my mind was playing tricks on me. I probably should sell it, but I think I would regret it. Thank goodness for an understanding wife.

I've had mine since it was new in 1970! I can't even count the times I was asked to sell it! Even when I bought a 21' Seapro W/A three years ago I couldn't sell it! But I did the next best thing. My brother-in-law offered to restore the woodwork and maintain it so he and the kids could use it. He even added hydraulic steering! So now it's being used more than ever and if I feel like taking it to a lake for a day or just take it for a spin around our harbor, there she is,all preped and looking new!
