I have a 1964, 21' Boston Whaler Outrage in fair condition. I was wondering if it is worthwhile to restore the boat, is this boat considered a collectable? are they hard to come by?

It is the only one in the world.

BW didn't start selling them intil 1970 or '71.

Akron, JB is correct on the dates... maybe yours is a 74 (typo ?). These are hard to come by and well worth the effort to restore IMO! Currently I am restoring a 1976 Outrage 21 and also have a 1979 Revenge 21 which I have had for about eight years. If under deck 40 gal tank needs replacing a new one can be purchaced from Florida Marine Tanks in Miami (305-620-9030). Go for it! Happy Whalin... Clark.. Spruce Creek Navy

I don't think that there are many "collectable" boats made from fiberglass.

A restored 21-Outrage is certainly a head turner.

On what basis are you asserting you have a 1964 hull?
