Hey guys, I just wanted to share an expierence I had the other day. I work at a local haul out marina in Riviera Beach, Fl. So after things had been shut down and locked up I saw an old 13' sport come drifting up to the dock. I spoke to the gentleman and he told that his fuel line hook up had broken a seal, therefore the engine was not able to suck the gas. Everyone at work was gone already so I jumped the fence and took a fuel fitting off an unused tank. I switched them out for him and his boat never ran better. It was a 1970 pre-smirk blue and white w/35hp Evinrude. I told him how mine was a 1972 and how I am doing work on it. He told me he wanted to restore his boat as well. So I wrote the address of the forum on a card, maybe he'll show up. He was very greatful and I was just happy to be able to help a fellow whaler owner. Anyone else done good deed lately?

I let a guy merge onto the freeway while I was pulling my Whaler. He waved. It felt great...

I consider the date to be privilaged to go out on a whaler. I wish I knew more girls who had boats!

Well, when people look wide eyed while I'm out with my Whaler I get a feeling not unlike doing a good deed.

Doesn't even have to be on the water. You know, like when you're at a stop light or a car passes you on the highway and the occupants all look your craft over like a hungry man might look at a steak dinner or how kids look at that big present with their name on it at Christmas. ;-)

Good deed? I doubt if it qualifies but then again maybe just a little...
