There are a lot of nice, reasonably priced boats in FL. My former employer bought his 25' revenger with WD from FL.

Does anyone have any odea how much it costs to ship a trailerable (on a trailer) boat cross country? In this case an Outrage?

Thanks,

Jim

I don't know about a boat, but when my company moved me from CA to SC they paid $800 a car to ship them that distance. You might try contacting a used car dealer that might be buying cars in FL and shipping them there. You might could get a boat thrown in on one of their trucks. Just a thought.

I researched prices for shipping from CA. to Ga. for @ 22' boat and the best I found was $1000 shipped via auto-toter. Kevin

I had a outrage with whaler drive moved from New Jersey to Texas.

Cost to haul boat and trailer (both loaded on a trailer), $ 1500.00.

Make sure that whoever you use has insurance!

Well - I guess that won't work - I got a quote of over $3600 $ - I realize that the diagonla from FL to WA is about as far as you can go!

I shipped a 25 ft. Outrage Cuddy from Alabama to N. Calif. for $2600. The professional boat transporters want about $1. per mile. I used Peterson Transport phone # 785-568-2104. They transported it on a roll-up truck and it arrived in good shape.Always insist on a copy of their insurance and DOT authorization--there are alot of fly by nite outfits.

I paid $2000 to ship a 22' Outrage with whaler drive from Pensacola to Eugene, Oregon last year. The boat and trailer were shipped on a semi-trailer.

Yhe shipping is well worth it IF you don't get hosed on the original purchase.

Be very careful in that regard. There are some shady characters out there...

Check with Bigshot. I thought I saw a post here recently that he was towing a trailer from FL up to NJ and could haul a boat on it for someone. Don't know if he left yet or found a boat to tow. Brian
