I almost bought an 18' outrage yesterday. Thought I was getting a steal at $8500, with good trailer. But I have 2 questions. One, Can my Isuzu rodeo rated at 4500 pounds towing really safely drag this thing around, or should I be more looking at a Montauk 17?

Second, the hull had lots of dings (Maybe 15) where the gel coat was cracked and had flaked off. The glass underneath looked good in all the spots, and it appeared to be just cosmetic damage. hull needed to be repainted, new rub rail, and teak refinished. The boat had a pair of old yamaha 50's and ran well, but clearly would need to be repowered within a year or 2.

Everyone tell me what you think. Help Help. Im especially concerned about the towing of this boat.
