I have a problem with my 03' 225 Honda with 200 hrs on it.

My whaler went in the water about two weeks ago and has run fine although it has had little use. Two nights ago it started to surge/pause above 3000rpm, at low speed it ran okay.

Feeling that I had a fuel flow issue I replaced the fuel filter under the cowling and also the high pressure filter. I then checked the fuel line for kinks or pinches and found none. The fuel tank was half full of treated fuel that sat for the winter and I added freash fuel and some ezorb. My Racor unit is brand new and the water separator bowl is clear. I then relaunched last night and the problem continues. @*#$% !!!

I'm looking for any ideas or suggestions before I have to take it to a dealer.

Well, before you take it to a dealer, run it on a portable tank of fresh gas. That 225 is a big engine, so make sure the fuel line to the portable is big enough.

That will eliminate anything having to do with the boat fuel system.
