I'd like to wash my covers and can't seem to find any instructions on doing it. Can I throw them into a washing machine? |

Assuming your covers are made from Sunbrella fabric, use the instructions found here: http://www.fishmaster.com/pdf/CareAndCleaning.pdf |

Very timely and appreciated. I was just going on line to look up some info on how best to clean my sunbrella fabric. I used my Bimini top for the first time in over a year yesterday and found that the underneath contained salt deposits and some rust from the frame rod. My Bimini is stored inside the "boot" and simply laid back toward the stern seats for access as needed, I guess over time on the water and washings afterwards, the water just laid inside the boot/folds until it eventually evaporated each time. Thanks for posing the question and for the excellent feedback. |

My covers will see another few weeks of use then the boat will be winterized. Even though I keep the boat in indoor rack storage during the winter I still keep in covered. I'll be using the vinyl covers for the console and RPS and a beat up Taylor cover for the over the whole boat loosely draped. I'm still amazed at the amount of crap that fall on the boat from the guy above me. |
