Measure your own rail diameter with the use of this measuring device. http://www.cesmithco.com/rodtour/SizeFinder.pdf

I use the Attwood Pro Series rod holders in white. They clamp to the rail and are adjustable and removeable. http://www.attwoodmarine.com/ |

Correction: I just checked and Lee's adjustable rail mount rod holder is not currently in production. Here is a link to a West Marine rod holder that I have experience with. Although it has a West label, it looks to me to be identical to a Tempo product.. It is well made, and I've had no problems with those installed on my 18 Outrage. |

Some have complained that the West rod holders cannot be adjusted without removing them. They are not designed to be easily adjustable: not a problem for me since once I have the rod holders mounted, I never change them. As to the mounting bolt "backing off" issue, Loctite is a simple, inexpensive and totally effective solution. Use Loctite Threadlocker Blue( #242) which allows removal of the fasteners with hand tools Do not use the Red Loctite. |

I like these. The will mount on a horizontal or vertical rail either 7/8 or 1 inch. They are cheap... $20 each and are adjustable with a large cross tip screw driver that allow a circular ratchet to pivot thru 360 degrees, plus the whole assembly can be pushed around the tube mounting location to cock different locations. The Center console in the foreground has two of the rod holders mounted in the stern on the down part of the rails. I am not sure if you are looking for pole holders for storing rods when not in use or for something to set rods in when fishing/trolling. I was given a product that I was sketpical of at first, but since then, love dearly. They are by far one of the ugliest pole holders I have ever seen. But, they allow the quickest removal of the rod from the holder that I have ever dealt with (and that matters when the tip of the rod is almost in the water). The pole holder spilts open; so when you grab the pole, the natural motion of grabbing the pole lifts it out of the holder. (Same is true for setting the rod into the holder.) The brand name is "folbe" Oddly enough I only use these on the Montauk, they don't look right on the other boat and the body angle doesn't make sense either. And if they weren't free I would go to rocket launcher types and get them as low as possible to keep the sight lines of the boat clean. |

Just a caution about bolt-on rail holders... when afixing to a horizontal railing be aware that a heavy rod and reel in the holder can (and has) been known to cause the holder to rotate during a bumpy ride, resulting in the rod and reel being lost overboard. |
