cgodfrey	posted 09-30-2008 11:47 PM ET (US)         I bought some nice heavy new Whitecap brand Marine Strap Hinges http://www.whitecapindustries.net/productDetail.cfm?productId=404 for a buck at a yard sale last weekend. Proprietor of said yard, bored and trying to schmooze me, asked what kind of boat I own. When I told him, he informed me that Whitecap is Boston Whaler's OEM supplier for stainless hardware. Fairly certain he was talking out of his exhaust port, but can anyone confirm either way? CG

seabob4	posted 10-02-2008 08:52 PM ET (US)             We use Whitecap's Pop-up cleat, 4", 6", and 8". http://www.freeportmarine.com/products/WHC6804/ Used to be not so good as their stuff was made in China. Now, everybodie's stuff is made in China.
