posted 10-28-2008 12:54 PM ET (US)         i have had th boat for 3 years and the issue has progressed for 3 years.The 1st yr i just bought the boat and i was running full bore and went from 38 to 25 in a heartbeat then after a few seconds i took off like a shot.last year much of the same and sometimes out no problems. this fall after a few miles @ full throttle and it loses power and wont quit unless i let it cool off then it will happen again.The 1st yr i had the boat i found some burned wires that go into a box (yellow &red)above the cdm's,i suspected a zip tie wore into them and caused wires to arc.I redressed wires and they haven't arced again.thi issue existed at the bullet connectors.I have been told it could be the stator if it is,what do i have to replace in addition to the stator?
