I came across this website and was impresssed by how comprehensive it is.

I agree, that site offers a lot of information. I found particularly of interest was the photo piece taken from the air. The view or look from above gives you a better feel of the layout for those marinas you've known about but had never entered or visited from the water. Speaking in my case of those small marinas on Erie.

Seems very comprehesive. I can spot my boat at my marina. I really like the shot of inlets.

Using an iphone and other mobile smart phones,
you can now view aerial, as well as street level views of satellite images of anywhere in the world using google earth and motionx-GPS.

Big brother is definitely watching.

Many of the new chartplotters also have satellite photos loaded. I know this is true of NavNet 3D, Raymarine E and G series (with Navionics Platinum cartography), and Garmin G2 Vision.
