Hey all--Is it normal for a little bit of water to end up past the drain plug in the 15 sport after a day of boating or should it stay bone dry?

I had mine out for a few hours and there was an inch of water in the little reservoir...Bad drain plug?

Cheers all!

Only and inch?

Water always ends up in my boat during the course of a days activities. I wouldn't worry about it.

It's a boat, it's in the water, water splashes, water comes in over the transom, water drips from your hands and your fishing gear(sometimes the dog pees a little when it gets excited)... and it is likely to end up in that depression where the plug is...

Don't worry about it, it probably isn't coming in from the plug....

when the empty cans float and slosh from side to side its time to pull the plug and drain out the water and blood and used bait

Sometimes those rubber plugs leak thru the center screw
