I have a 1995 70 HP Force that shuts down due to loosing it's prime. I could be trolling or running wide open when the engine shuts down.I simply prime the fuel bulb and it starts right up and will run perfect. The engine will run good for an hour or so and will shut down again. I have replaced the fuel pump diaphram and fuel filter and it does the same thing.Otherwise the engine runs great. The engine has less than a total of 100 hours total. Any suggestions??

Could be a primer bulb, anti-siphon valve, or something else. I would use a different fuel tank, fuel line, bulb, etc. This will narrow down the possible suspects. Bob

Don't use THE GAM for advice on making repairs to your outboard. Move your topic to REPAIRS/MODS.
