EVERGLADES ANNOUNCES COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT DIVISION
Edgewater, Fla. (May 12, 2009) – Everglades Boats, a leading manufacturer of luxury offshore and inshore boats, is pleased to announce the formation of a commercial and government division to its’ modern production facilities located in Edgewater, Florida.
“This is something we have been planning for quite some time”, said Bob Dougherty, Everglades C.E.O., “But frankly our manufacturing space was monopolized by the incredible retail demand we have had for our products over the past few years.” “Current market conditions are opening some new avenues for production in the near term that will be critical to our success for years to come.”
Everglades will attend the MACC Conference, Multi-Agency Craft Conference, June 16-18, 2009 in Norfolk, Virginia. The company will debut the first of many specialized Everglades Boats designed specifically for government and military applications during the show.
Everglades Commercial and Government Division will be headed up by industry veteran, Mike Collins, who will serve as its Director. “In less than one month time, we’ll have an all new 35 Pilot House ready for the MACC Conference that will be a full blown Military model.” “The speed at which we can bring new models to market cannot be matched by our primary competitors.”

According to company President, Stephen Dougherty, “Everglades Commercial and Government Division will take advantage of our modern manufacturing facilities complete with a fabrication/metal shop, engineering team and quality production staff to quickly make an impact in the commercial marketplace.” “We will create the same type of market leading feature and benefit in our commercial products that have made our retail models so popular and we can do it all in house.”

It will be interesting to see what old Uncle Bob brings to the MACC this year, its held in here at work every year, and its a great boat show. Especially the Demo Rides!
