[This discussion began with no content, but simply a pointer to a promotional website for a movie which appeared to be a political statement disguised as a documentary, a genre now quite popular with groups wishing to promote their political beliefs. A reasonable discussion of the ethics of fishing and management of the fisheries ensued. Eventually the discussion turned onto itself, and began focusing more on its participants and the discussion itself rather than the topic of management of fisheries. This is something akin to a fish swallowing its own tail. I am afraid I did not become aware of this discussion earlier, but found it as it devoured itself. I am afraid I found little content worth preserving in our archives.--jimh.]

The ethics of sport fishing for entertainment, the management of certain species in the commercial fishing of the coastal waters of the United States, or the global management and cooperation among nations in management of the global fishery are topics in which there is a general interest among owners of Boston Whaler boats, but discussion of them often becomes problematic when the participants become too personal in their arguments.--jimh]
