Good news! I checked with my local Evinrude dealer today, and they called BRP for a 20", electric start, power trim and tilt E-TEC 30 hp for my 13' Super Sport. Much to our surprise(them and me) a 30 hp will be shipped and delivered, possibly by the end of THIS WEEK. I had plunked down a deposit, and I'm excited to hear the good news. The dealer has had 9 small E-TEC's on order since last fall. Because I was serious and willing to make a deposit, they will supposedly get priority, and the engine will be on its way. Stay tuned.

bud, I don't have to change controls or tach etc. The set up from my 2000 Johnson will work. E-TEC $4100. I thought that was a fair price. |

That is $200 less than Ed's 30hp Mercury so I think it is fair. |

My trusty Evinrude dealer let me know that my 30 E-TEC has arrived! Should be able to take delivery Friday morning. So, you CAN get them! Will post performance stats as soon as I can. |

With my Evenrude, the pee hole is a fitting that screws into a standard female hose thread. You can screw a hose in and back wash it. Do not exceed 50 PSI. Chuck
